Family of the veteran actor Bruce Willis announced the actor’s decision to quit acting. Earlier the fans have mourned the news of the aphasia diagnosis. Now, Rumer, the daughter of Bruce Willis, shared the news in her latest post by sharing a goofy picture of her father.
Rumer penned in her post: “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this, and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him. This is a challenging time for our family, and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support.” she further added by quoting Bruce’s saying, “Live it up, and together we plan to do just that.”
Many of his fans and well-wishers showered their favorite stars with love and support. The 67-year-old actor was diagnosed with aphasia lately, as was suspected by his co-workers for years. The aphasia will affect the brain’s cognitive to communicate. The person often finds difficulty in solecism. Mostly they talk in brief due to their constraints in placing words.
The actor’s closest ones, including sir Anthony Hopkins, Haley Joel Osment, Sylvester Stallone, and other actors, showed support by posting throwback photos. His successful and long career-motivated millions of people around the world. When the sixth sense co-stars struggled to convey their emotions, others tried to strengthen the mental spirit.
The former child artist Osment, who worked with Bruce’s movie, the sixth sense in 1999, said he would cherish his works and the moments they shared.
Osment wrote: “I am so grateful for what I witnessed firsthand, and for the enormous body of work he built for us to enjoy for years and years to come. I just wanted to express the respect and deep admiration I have for Bruce and his family as they move forward with the courage and high spirits that have always defined them.'”
The director of the same movie, M.Night Shyamalan, also showed his love and respect. He further added, “He will always be that hero on that poster on my wall as a kid.”
Sarah Paulson commented on Bruce’s halts by saying, “He was such an incredible acting partner to me, and is the loveliest, most gentle and hilarious man. He reigns supreme in my book.”
Travolta, the one who worked with Bruce in two blockbuster movies: ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Look Who’s Talking’, shared one of their treasured moments where Bruce said, “John, I just want you to know that when something good happens to you, I feel like it’s happening to me. That’s how generous a soul he is. I love you, Bruce.”
