Khan Sir is a coaching institute professor who has a net worth of Rs 5-6 crores. His real name is Faizal Khan and he is a well-known coaching institute professor, YouTuber, and Internet sensation from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. 

Khan Sir is well known as ‘Khan Sir Patna’. There was a lot of discussion about his name because some people thought it was ‘Amit Singh,’ but it was later clarified to be Faizal Khan via some documents. Another reason why his ‘real’ name was on the down low, was because the authorities had ordered him to shield his identity. 

Early Life 

As per the available and accessible records on his early life today, Khan Sir is said to be born in 1992 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. His primary education was at a local government school -Parmar Mission School – in Uttar Pradesh itself. He graduated from Aligarh University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and it is also reported that he holds a Master’s degree in Geography. 

He is 30 years old today and resides in Patna, Bihar. Despite being a famous face in the arena of media, there are many details regarding his identity and personal life that are hidden from the public. But with what little reports remain on the internet today, it is reported that his father is a retired army officer and his mother is a homemaker. It is also a possibility that he has a brother. There is no information regarding his spouse as well. 

The Controversy 

He has an FIR filed in his name due to a controversy that erupted in January 2022. He was booked because he was allegedly instigating his coaching institute students to destroy the Patna environment and complain about RRB NTPC, for not getting the competitive exams canceled. He was allegedly pushing students to perform violent activities in the city, with the help of other coaching institutes, for three days. The case was filed at Patrakar Nagar Police Station, Patna.

Career 

He began his career as a professor at a coaching institute. But it was when he started uploading videos of teaching on YouTube in 2019, did he rise to fame. His YouTube channel had the same name as that of the coaching institute in which he taught for a long time – Khan GS Research Centre. His teaching method was highly received in both real life and in his videos for the commendable methods he used to share to retain the students’ memory about something that they have learned. He was also successful in teaching current affairs and general knowledge. 

Coaching Career 

He began his teaching career at a coaching institute with a meager number of 4-5 students. But his efficient methods of teaching garnered a lot of attention and the size of his class grew exponentially in a matter of few months. 

So much so, that the owner of the institute was afraid that he would leave if his fame shoots up anymore. He originally wanted to join the NDA but was unable to due to some physical matters. So he looked for other ways to contribute to society. 

He has an orphanage in his name as well. He was also able to build the biggest library in Patna.

Apart from the coaching institute and YouTube, his other source of income is an application called KHAN SIR OFFICIAL in 2020. He uses the app to teach virtually. 

His contribution to helping students clear competitive exams did not end there, as he published some books that would help them crack the exam. He has more than 16 M subscribers on YouTube and more than 1 Billion views on some of his videos. 

His most viral video was on France-Pakistan relations and it was released on 24th April 2021.
